I think I need to block some people on MSN. I am extremely sorry. But they are bothering me too much. Even now when I am at home, I feel as depressed as I am in school. It’s all because of the unwanted updates. And these people are really affecting. I don’t mind people talking to me. But not the kind of people who are nothing but full of requests and endless problems. If we’re simply there for a nice chat, I don’t mind. With an agenda, outside schoolwork, I am glad to be of help, once or twice or even thrice because I regard you as a friend. However, more and more, I need time for myself as well, especially when I am in such dire straits. I feel like blocking you. The one who has given me nothing more than trouble and problems. I really don’t want to categorise you under Not-Friend, but if the need arises, you will have to go there.
On the contrary, I have to start conversations with the people I hope will talk to me but never has, maybe except once, instead of the annoying person. Yet, never mind.
Both Math and Physics Mid-Terms were more than great disappointments, scoring below average isn’t something I can stomach very well. Never mind again.
The more familiar I get to know a person, the more easily I get irritated and annoyed by him/her. I don’t know why but this is a hypothesis I have. As my friends, I have certain standards set for them and I expect them to carry themselves in a manner befitting. This may sound harsh but if they do not follow the protocol, I might be unhappy with their character or behaviour. I am this warped. I find people weird and I think increasingly, people are finding me weird. I am not, I am at most warped and inconsistent but mostly myself. I am a warped girl, I am essentially not a guy, in case anyone is mistaken.
Jie Hui is very nice and I must give him credit here for always giving me a lift to the MRT station, almost becoming part of my weekly pilgrimage. Thank you so much. He asked me if I am following him or his car and I said his car. Yesterday, I still said he was mean but after that because I wanted a lift, I said it was the wind who said he was mean. I am really following cars. Trina’s car is an Estima! Extremely huge and comfortable and her family is a bunch a great people! Lam Lam’s Matrix’s wonderful too and all the way to fetch me which I find simply too angelic for words. The automobile must be one of the greatest inventions of all time.
Jonathan says I look as if I am strong, Dequan says independent, Raj says good at taking care of people and Hui Fang says willful. I am willful, it’s supposed to have a negative connotation there. The euphemisms available are headstrong and determined. Not to deceive myself but to a friend, especially one I deem not-that-not-close, I wouldn’t say something to that extent. It’s always nice to put things as amicably as possible, let the other party hear the criticism behind it between the lines. Because who knows, other people may not be as receptive to bad comments about themselves as you. To a downright direct and straightforward person like me, your similarity in talking, I don’t fancy.
Is that too subtle, let me make it more obvious, opposite poles of a magnet attract. DI and SC make DISC. I am a DI, Gladys is SC, fine.
Weekend’s packed with Yishun, Vanessa’s birthday lunch (or maybe not), Open House, 4L and getting back to school.
